She is an accomplished physician and aesthetics and wellness industry professional with significant experience across practice development, global medical and regulatory strategies, and customer success initiatives. As Chief Medical Officer at Ideal Image, Dr. Margarella leads the innovation pipeline and medical board, overseeing the Medical Affairs, Medical Operations, and Education teams in addition to assessing innovative treatments and products for potential portfolio integration.

Prior, Dr. Margarella served as a senior medical director and medical affairs leader, directing operational and global medical and regulatory strategies at both well-known aesthetic pharmaceutical companies and disruptive biotech startups. She holds a medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a residency in general surgery at NYU Langone Lutheran Medical Center and as well as fellowship training in cosmetic surgery in Chattanooga, TN.
