In this role, he oversees the strategy and development of Meta's AI, compute, and storage hardware platforms, custom silicon, supply chain operations, and the management of global infrastructure capacity.

An award winning technology leader, Alan was named to the Top 100 of HITEC (Hispanic IT Executive Council), and the ComputerWorld Premier 100. Alan has served on various technical advisory boards and counsels including those for Dell, EMC, Cisco and VMware. 

Alan holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida, and Masters degrees from Columbia University and Seton Hall.  He also attended the Rutgers University College of Law. In addition he holds technical designations in the areas of Security, Networking, and Privacy.  He is a veteran of the US Navy having proudly served in the Submarine service.
